송언석 국회의원(경북 김천)은 24일, 김천 양천~대룡 국도대체우회도로 건설사업이 기획재정부의 일괄 예비타당성조사(이하 예타)를 통과했다고 밝혔다. 

양천~대룡 국도대체우회도로가 신설되면, 기존 도로와의 연결을 통해 김천도심 외곽을 순환하는 도로가 완성되어 도심 외곽 지역에 거주하는 시민들이 시가지를 거치지 않고 다른 지역으로 보다 빠르게 이동할 수 있다.

이에 따라 교통체증에 시달리는 김천 시민들의 교통 불편이 획기적으로 개선되고 지역 균형발전의 활로가 열릴 것으로 기대된다.

그동안 송언석 의원은 공약사업인 「양천~대룡 국도대체우회도로 건설사업」의 조속한 추진을 위해, 국토교통부와 기획재정부의 도로 건설사업 실무 담당자들을 만나 사업의 필요성을 꾸준히 설명해 왔다.

지난 2월에는 송언석 의원의 적극적인 건의로 김천 옥률~대룡 국도대체우회도로와 교동·삼락동, 봉산면을 연결하는 삼락교차로 설치사업 예산 49억7천만원이 확보된 바 있다.

송언석 의원은 “천신만고 끝에 「양천~대룡 국도대체우회도로 건설사업」이 예타를 통과하면서 김천 외곽순환도로의 조기 완성을 위한 발판을 마련했다”라며 “예타 통과는 정부예산 확보의 출발점인 만큼, 충분한 예산 확보와 조속한 사업 추진을 위해 정부부처와 긴밀히 협의해 나가겠다”고 말했다.

In February, with the active suggestion of Rep. Song Eon-seok, a budget of 4.97 billion won was secured for the Samrak Intersection, which connects the Okryul-Daeryong National Road in Gimcheon and Gyodong, Samrak-dong, and Bongsan-myeon.

Rep. Song Eon-seok said, “After a lot of hard work, the “Yangcheon-Daeryong National Road Alternative Bypass Road Construction Project” passed the Yeta and laid a foothold for the early completion of the Gimcheon Outer Ring Road. We will work closely with government departments to secure budget and expedite the project,” he said.
