【브레이크뉴스 대구】박은정 기자= 대구시는 동절기 코로나19 재유행 위험에 대응해 11일부터 2가백신을 활용한 동절기 추가접종을 시작한다.

10일 대구시에 따르면 동절기 추가접종 대상자는 만 18세 이상 1·2차 기초접종 완료자 중 면역저하자, 감염취약시설 입원·종사자 및 60세 이상 연령층 등으로 건강취약계층부터 우선 시행 한다.

동절기 추가접종에 사용되는 2가백신은 초기 유행 바이러스와 오미크론 변이 바이러스에 모두 대응할 수 있도록 개발된 메신저리보핵산(mRNA) 방식의 백신으로, 국내 도입된 모더나의 2가 백신을 접종에 활용한다.

우선 접종 대상자인 면역저하자와 60세 이상 연령층은 사전예약 후 접종하거나 잔여백신으로 당일접종 가능하며, 그 외 접종을 원하는 사람은 우선순위에 관계없이 잔여백신으로 당일접종할 수 있다.

접종을 원하는 사람은 사전예약 누리집또는 콜센터를 통해 예약할 수 있고 동 행정복지센터나 보건소를 통해 전화 예약 또는 대리 예약도 가능하다. 

당일접종의 경우 의료기관으로 유선연락해 예약하거나 12일 16시부터 네이버·카카오 등 플랫폼으로 예약할 수 있다.

동절기 추가접종 대상자는 2·3·4차 등 마지막 접종일 후 4개월(120일) 경과시점부터 접종할 수 있으며, 코로나19에 감염된 이력이 있는 경우 마지막 접종일 또는 확진일 중 늦은 시점으로부터 4개월 후 접종하는 것을 권고한다.

홍윤미 대구시 감염병관리과장은 "이번 겨울 코로나19와 인플루엔자 동시 유행에 대비하기 위해서는 건강취약계층 등 고위험군 대상으로 동절기 추가접종이 꼭 필요하다”며, “기초접종 완료자는 동절기 추가접종에 적극 동참해 주실 것을 당부드린다”고 밝혔다.
