대구시에서 유흥주점발 코로나19 신규 확진자가 급증해 지난달 9일 이후 한 달여 만에 가장 많은 확진자 수를 기록했다.

12일 0시 기준 대구시에서 발생한 코로나19 신규 확진자는 37명으로 지난달 9일 44명의 확진자가 발생한 이후 한 달여 만에 가장 많은 확진자가 발생했다. 주소지별로는 달서구 9명, 수성구 7명, 남구·북구·동구 각 5명, 달성군 4명, 서구 2명이다.

이 가운데 4명은 중구 동성로 소재 주점 관련 확진으로 이미 집단 감염이 발생한 동성로 클럽골목 내 일반주점 업주가 동업자와 함께 남구 한 유흥주점을 방문하면서 발생한 것으로 확인됐다.

또 다른 10명은 중구 소재 다른 주점 관련 확진으로 부산지역 확진자와 접촉해 확산한 것으로 파악됐다.

달서구에서는 학교 관련으로도 5명이 발생했고 이와 함께 유흥주점 관련으로도 1명이 추가됐다.

추가 확진자 중 8명이 감염경로를 알 수 없어 방역 당국이 역학조사 중에 있으며 이들과 접촉한 2명이 확진 판정을 받았다.

이밖에 7명은 기존 지역 확진자 또는 경남 거창·진해 등 타지역 확진자와 접촉해 확진됐다.

대구시는 "유흥주점을 중심으로 한 코로나19 발생이 빠른 속도로 번지자 델타 변이 바이러스에 가능성을 두고 주시하고 있으며 유흥업소 종사자 등을 대상으로 하는 PCR 검사를 강화하고 모니터링을 하는 등의 방안을 강구한다"고 밝혔다. 

또한 업소가 방역수칙을 한 번만 위반해도 열흘간 영업을 중단시키고, 확진자가 나온 업소는 역학조사가 끝날 때까지 운영을 못하도록 하는 등의 방침을 정했다.
