【브레이크뉴스 대구】박은정 기자=대구시 중구보건소(보건소장 황석선)는 관내 감염취약시설 ‘해인정신건강상담센터’에 방문해 코로나19 동절기 추가접종을 실시했다고 20일 밝혔다.
동절기 추가접종에 사용되는 2가백신은 기존백신 대비 효과가 3~4배 높으며, 이상사례 신고 비율 또한 기존 백신의 10분의 1 수준으로 낮아 안전성이 높다.
해인센터 종사자 및 이용자들을 대상으로 2가백신을 접종 후에 약 20분 가량 시설에 머무르며 이상 반응을 면밀히 관찰했으며 접종자 중 이상 반응이 관찰된 대상자는 없었다.
특히 집단감염의 우려가 있는 감염 취약시설 이용자는 기저질환 등으로 면역력이 떨어져 중증으로 악화될 위험성이 높은데 이번 방문접종을 통해 감염예방 효과가 높을 것으로 기대된다.
