결혼을 앞둔 예비부부 및 임신을 원하는 예비부모 중 한명이 서구 주민이면 모두 검사가 가능하다.
검사항목은 B형간염, 에이즈, 매독, 혈액형, 혈색소, 간기능 2종(SGOT/SGPT), 소변검사(요당, 요단백), 풍진검사, 흉부 X-ray로 구성하였으며 검사 대상자 중 여성에게는 엽산제를 3개월분 지원한다.
검진을 희망하는 예비부부(부모)는 신분증, 청첩장(또는 예식장 계약서)을, 예비부모는 신분증, 가족관계증명서 등을 지참해 서구보건소 건강증진과 모자보건실을 방문하면 된다.
박미영 서구보건소장은 “예비부부와 예비부모를 대상으로 한 무료 건강검진 서비스가 임신 전 건강관리 뿐만 아니라 건강 출산을 위해 도움이 될 수 있을 것이다”고 밝혔다.
