【브레이크뉴스 대구】박은정 기자=  대구 달서구(구청장 이태훈)는 '고등직업교육거점지구(HiVE)사업 워크숍 및 지역산·학·관·민 교류회'를 개최했다고 11일 밝혔다.

달서고에 따르면 고등직업교육거점지구(HiVE)사업은 기초자치단체와 지역 전문대가 연계·협력해 지역 내 특화 분야를 선정하고, 관련 지역인재를 육성하는 거점 역할을 할 수 있도록 교육부가 지원하는 공모 사업이다.

달서구와 계명문화대학교 컨소시엄은 오는 2024년까지 연간 15억원(구비 10%)의 사업비를 지원받아 달서구 정주 청년인재 양성 및 지역 밀착형 고등직업교육거점화를 목표로 사업을 추진한다.

이번 워크숍 및 지역 산·학·관·민 교류회를 통해 사업의 운영 방향을 논의하고 지역사회와 연계·협력하여 본 사업이 성공적으로 안착할 수 있도록 사업계획을 공유하고 확산시켜 나갈 계획이다.

현재 재직자, 신중장년, 재취업희망자, 경력단절여성 등을 대상으로 한 평생직업교육 과정을 지역 특화분야와 일반분야로 나눠 지난 9월부터 진행하고 있다. 

지역 특화분야는 스마트 제조기술과정, 국제 커피아카데미 과정, 온라인 마케팅 과정, 일반 분야는 시니어 웰빙 지도사 과정(노인통합미술지도사 2급), 힐링 요리·원예 심리지도사 과정(아동요리지도사 1급)을 약 15주 과정으로 운영 중에 있다.

이태훈 달서구청장은 “고등직업교육거점지구 사업을 통해 구민들에게 폭 넓은 교육기회를 제공하고, 지역 산업 수요에 맞는 청년 인재 양성과 청년 수요가 높은 양질의 일자리 창출로 청년들이 우리 구에 정주할 수 있는 발판을 마련하도록 노력하겠다”고 전했다.

Regionally specialized fields include smart manufacturing technology course, international coffee academy course, online marketing course, and general field, senior well-being instructor course (Senior Integrated Art Instructor Level 2), Healing Cooking and Horticulture Psychology Instructor course (Child Cooking Instructor Level 1) It is a 15-week course.

Tae-Hoon Lee, Mayor of Dalseo-gu, said, “Through the Higher Vocational Education Base District Project, we will provide a wide range of educational opportunities to the residents, nurture young talents that meet the needs of local industries and create high-quality jobs with high demand for young people so that young people can settle in our district. We will try our best to build a foothold.”
