【브레이크뉴스 대구】진예솔 기자=대구가톨릭대(총장직무대행 성한기) 피아노과 4학년 이정수 학생이 ‘제6회 전국 발달장애인 음악축제 GREAT MUSIC FESTIVAL’에서 클래식 부문 최우수상의 영예를 안았다.

2017년 처음 개최된 ‘GMF’는 음악활동을 통해 발달장애인들의 사회성을 기르고 재능을 개발하기 위해 해마다 열리는 음악축제이다.

26일, 대학에 따르면 올해 GMF에는 280여 명이 예선에 참가한 가운데 대구가톨릭대 이정수 학생은 베토벤 교향곡 5번 ‘운명’ 1악장을 연주해 클래식 부문 최우수상을 수상했다.

앞서 이정수 학생은 ‘제15회 전국장애청소년예술제’ 서양악기 합주 부문 장려상, ‘제10회 대한민국장애인예술경연대회’ 스페셜K 클래식 부문 동상 등 여러 콩쿠르에 참가해 두각을 나타내왔다.

이정수 학생은 “장애학생 경연대회에서 최우수상을 받은 것은 처음이라 뿌듯하다. 졸업 후 전공인 피아노와 음악 활동을 활발하게 이어 나가고 싶다.”고 말했다.

At this year's GMF, about 280 people participated in the preliminary round, and Daegu Catholic University student Jeong-soo Lee performed the first movement of Beethoven's 5th Symphony, 'Fate', and won the grand prize in the classical category.

Previously, Lee Jung-soo had participated in several competitions, such as the “15th National Disabled Youth Arts Festival” and the “10th Korea Disabled Art Contest” Special K Classic Category, Bronze Prize, etc.

Student Lee Jung-soo said, “I am proud that it is the first time I have won the first prize in a student with disabilities contest. After graduating, she wants to actively pursue her major, piano and music,” she said.
