이번 협약은 수성구민의 평생교육 실현과 수성구 소속 공무원의 전문성 증진을 위한 상호협과, 연구자료, 간행물, 학술정보, 연구 인력 및 인적 네트워크 상호 활용, 협약기관의 공간과 시설 등 인프라의 공동 이용, 전문 교육에 필요한 인적교류 및 강의 지원 등을 주요 골자로 한다.

이와 함께 대구가톨릭대는 수성구민, 수성구 소속 공무원이 유스티노자유대학에 입학할 경우 산학협력장학금을 지급하기로 약속했다.

성한기 총장은 “이번 협약이 우리 대학의 온라인 교육과 구민들의 평생교육 활성화에 크게 기여할 것으로 기대한다. 앞으로 양 기관이 교육 프로그램을 활발히 운영하면서 행복한 지역사회를 만드는데도 기여할 수 있기를 바란다.”고 말했다.
