【브레이크뉴스 대구】박은정 기자=대구 서구청(구청장 류한국)은 지난 25일 e편한세상두류역아파트 내 구립 아이편한숲어린이집을 신규 개원했다고 밝혔다.

27일, 서구청에 따르면 이번에 개원한 구립 아이편한숲어린이집은 건축법 개정 후 신규 500세대 이상 공동주택 내 국공립어린이집 설치가 의무화되면서 최초로 설치하는 어린이집이다.  

구립 아이편한숲어린이집(원장 김덕선)은 리모델링비 1억 2천만 원의 예산으로 어린이집 실내 전반에 친환경적인 자작나무와 편백나무 마감재를 적용했다.

특히 자유롭게 쉴 수 있는 휴게공간을 아이들 눈높이에 맞춘 디자인 소품을 설치했다.

향후 서구는 내년 상반기 서대구 영무예다음. 서대구역 서한이다음 더퍼스트 내 구립 어린이집 2개소와 2024년 3개소(서대구 센트럴자이, 서대구 화성파크드림, 서대구 반도유보라)를 설치하여 공보육의 질적 수준을 한층 더 강화해 나갈 계획이다. 

류한국 서구청장은 “앞으로 서구는 활발히 추진하고 있는 재개발사업과 더불어 지속적인 국공립어린이집 확충으로 우수한 보육환경을 만들어 아이 키우기 좋은 서구를 만드는데 최선을 다하겠다”고 밝혔다.
