이날 대구시에 따르면 ‘지역혁신 선도기업 100’은 혁신 역량과 성장가능성을 갖춘 유망기업을 발굴해 지역 주력산업 생태계와 지역 경제를 선도하는 앵커기업으로 육성하기 위해 새 정부 국정과제로 채택돼 중소벤처기업부가 추진하고 있는 프로젝트이다.

서울, 인천, 경기를 제외한 14개 비수도권 소재 기업 중 올해 3월 1차 선정에 이어 11월 2차 선정(47개 사)을 거쳐 최종 100개 사가 선정됐다.

 대구시 소재 기업 중 지역혁신 선도기업으로 선정된 기업은 와이제이링크㈜(대표 박순일), ㈜삼우농기(대표 김필자), ㈜씨엠에이글로벌(대표 김영선), ㈜구영테크(대표 이희화), 대영채비㈜(대표 정민교),  ㈜파인메딕스(대표 전성우), ㈜엔유씨전자(대표 김종부) 등 총 7개 사이다.

선정 기업은 최대 6년간의 선정기간 동안 1차연도 지방자치단체의 기술개발(R&D) 과제 기획 및 기업 맞춤형 패키지 지원을 받게 되며 2차연도부터 정부의 기술개발(R&D) 지원, 사업화 지원 등의 다양한 프로그램을 지원받아 지역혁신 생태계를 구축해 나가게 된다.

이날 행사는 홍준표 대구시장을 비롯해 이영 중소벤처기업부 장관, 양금희 국회의원을 비롯해 14개 시·도 (부)단체장, 지원기관장(중소기업기술정보진흥원, 중소벤처기업진흥공단, 기술보증기금, 한국방송광고진흥공사), 지역 테크노파크 원장, 지역혁신 선도기업 대표 등 250여 명이 참석했다.

각 시·도 (부)단체장이 시·도별 2차 선정기업 대표에게 선정서를 수여하고 이영 장관은 선정 기념패를 수여했으며, 이후 선도기업의 지역경제 주역으로 성장 의지를 담은 축하 세리머니, 지역 일자리 창출과 경제 성장을 통해 지역사회에 공헌하는 대표기업으로서 역할을 다하겠다는 비전 다짐 선언이 이어졌다. 

선도기업 지원 업무협약식은 장관, 시·도 (부)단체장, 지원기관장 등 19명이 태블릿 PC를 활용한 디지털 전자협약식으로 진행됐다.

협약서는 선도기업 육성 제도 마련 및 관리자 지정·운영 ,선도기업 성장 지원 프로그램 운영, 지역별 우수사례 발굴 및 기업·기관 포상 등 성과 환류 등의 주요 협력 내용을 담고 있다. 

홍준표 대구시장은 “새정부 지역대표 기업 육성을 위한 첫 번째 행사인 지역혁신 선도기업 100 출범식을 대구에서 개최하게 된 것에 대해 매우 뜻깊게 생각한다”며, “지역혁신 선도기업이 지역 경제 발전이라는 청사진을 완성하기 위한 밀알이 되어 주시기 바라고, 대구시도 활력 넘치는 기업활동을 위한 지원을 아끼지 않겠다”고 밝혔다.

Selected companies will receive support for technology development (R&D) task planning and company-tailored package support from local governments in the first year during the selection period of up to six years. The program will be supported to build a regional innovation ecosystem.

The event on this day was attended by Daegu Mayor Hong Joon-pyo, Minister of Small and Medium Venture Business Lee Young, and National Assembly member Yang Geum-hee, as well as heads of 14 cities and provinces (deputy) organizations, and heads of supporting institutions (Small and Medium Business Technology Information Agency, Small and Medium Venture Business Corporation, Korea Technology Finance Corporation, Korea Broadcasting Advertisement Promotion Corporation), local techno park directors, and representatives of leading local innovation companies attended.

The head of each city/province (deputy) government presented the selection letter to the representative of the 2nd selected company in each city/province, and Minister Young Lee presented the selection commemorative plaque. The declaration of a vision to fulfill its role as a representative company that contributes to the local community through economic growth followed.

The business agreement ceremony for supporting leading companies was held as a digital electronic agreement ceremony using a tablet PC by 19 people, including ministers, heads of cities and provinces (deputy) organizations, and heads of support institutions.

The agreement contains major cooperation contents such as preparation of a system to nurture leading companies, designation and operation of managers, operation of programs to support growth of leading companies, discovery of best practices by region, and feedback on achievements such as rewarding companies and institutions.
