24일, 대경대 대학일자리플러스센터는 동물사육복지과 1학년 대상으로 학과 맞춤형 집단상담 프로그램을 진행했다고 밝혔다.

프로그램에 참석한 동불사육복지과 1학년 학생들은 16가지 성격유형 MBTI, 12가지 행동유형을 알아볼 수 있는 DISC 검사를 등을 통해 자신의 성격 및 행동유형을 확인하는 시간을 가졌다.
이를 통해 전공 직무와 연계하여 자신이 속한 환경과 그 안에서 자신을 어떻게 인식하는지를 알고 나 자신과 타인을 이해하는 시간을 가졌다.
참가한 학생들은 집단상담 프로그램이 학과별 직무 탐색, 실질적 진로 역량 강화 향상 및 자신의 장‧단점을 아는데 큰 도움이 되어 진로 설정으로 자신감을 상승시키는 계기였다고 만족감을 드러냈다.
대경대학교 이채영 총장은 “우리 학교만의 특성화된 학과에 맞춤형 프로그램들을 다양하게 추진하여 많은 학과 학생들이 현장의 실무 및 실전 취업 경험에 앞서 본인의 적성에 맞는 진로 설정 및 탐색으로 취업까지 연계될 수 있도록 지속적 지원을 아끼지 않겠다고.”고 밝혔다.
