대경대에 따르면 지난 23일, 메이크업전공 등 3개 학과가 참가한 가운데 2022학년도 특화프로그램 여대생 취업토크쇼를 가 진행했다.
이날 행사에는 각 분야 여성 대표가 참가해 현장 실무 과정에 대한 질의와 토의에 이어 현장 면접을 통해 취업까지 연계하는 시간도 가졌다.
간호학과는 칠곡경북대학병원 18년차 전문간호사로부터 대학병원 연봉 및 복지, 육아휴직, 결혼과 직장 생활에 관련된 이야기와 함께 전산 간호업무방법, 대인관계방법 등과 같은 현직 실무 과정에 대한 피드백을 나누었다.
토크쇼에 참여한 임수민 학생은 “여대생 특화 프로그램으로 육아휴직, 결혼과 직장 생활 병행 등 노하우 등 현장실습에서는 쉽게 질문하지 못했던 피드백을 받을 수 있어 취업 후 미래를 그려보는데 큰 도움이 됐다.”며 “앞으로도 취업 프로그램에 참가하고 싶다.”는 소감을 말했다.
김옥미 대학일자리플러스센터장은 “학생들이 각 분야의 여성 대표들과 소통을 통해 성공적인 취업 설계를 해나가는 데 도움을 얻었을 것이라고 생각한다.”며 “앞으로도 학생들의 전문성 향상을 위해 특화 프로그램을 많이 마련할 계획”이라고 밝혔다.
