이날 새벽 서울 강남구 개포동 구룡마을에 대형 화재가 발생해 약 60여 가구가 불에 타고 인근 주민 500여 명이 긴급 대피한 것으로 알려진다.
홍준표 대구시장은 화재 소식을 접하고 강남구와 협의해 화재 피해지역에 필요한 물품을 빠른 시일 내에 지원하라고 지시했다.
대구시는 피해를 입은 구룡마을 주민들에게 생필품 및 방한용품 등을 긴급 지원하기로 하고, 다양한 지원방안을 검토 중이다.
