국민의힘 경북도당 공천관리위원회(위원장 임이자)는 11일 제2차 공천관리회의를 개최해 후보자의 도덕성, 유권자 신뢰도, 지역여론 수렴, 당 기여도 등을 종합평가해 경북도의원을 선출하는 구미시 제4선거구에 김일수 현 (주)한국플라텍 대표이사를, 포항시의회 기초의원을 선출하는 포항 나 선거구 후보자로 김상백 현 국민의힘 포항 북구 당원협의회 농림축산자문위원회 부위원장을 각각 결정했다.

이들은 13일 열리는 중앙당 최고위원회에서 최종 후보자로 확정될 예정이다.
