권 의원은 또 “비선호 시설인 엑스코선 차량기지를 주민을 무시하고 한 번의 설명도 없이 결정한 대구시의 행정에 분노한다.”고 강하게 비판을 이어갔다.
이와 함께 “주민 편의를 무시한 채 설계된 이시아폴리스역을 인근 주민이나 팔공산을 경유하는 시민들이 편리하게 환승할 수 있도록 해야 한다.”며 역 이전을 촉구하기도 했다.
한편 대구시는 지난 9일 기자회견을 통해 대구도시철도 4호선(엑스코선)의 차량기지 위치를 불로동 농경지로 두려 했으나 주민 의견과 연경지구로의 연장 가능성 등을 고려해 대안을 검토 중이라고 밝혔다. 이에 따라 차량기지의 위치는 현재 미정으로 알려진다.
