【브레이크뉴스 대구】이성현 기자=한국교육학술정보원(원장 정제영, 이하 KERIS)은 지난 20일, 고령화에따른 수혈 필요 인구 증가와 저출산으로 인한 혈액 수급 위기 극복에 동참하고자 헌혈 캠페인 및 단체 헌혈을 실시했다고 21일 밝혔다.

이번 헌혈 캠페인은  새해를 맞아 혈액 수급에 어려움을겪는 동절기의 위기를 극복하고 혈액 수급 안정화에 기여하고자, 대한적십자사 대구경북혈액원과 협력하여 진행됐다.

이날 한국교육학술정보원 직원뿐만 아니라 상주 협력업체 직원들도함께참여하여 총 30명이 헌혈을 완료했으며, 이를 통해 생명나눔의 가치를 실천하며 헌혈 캠페인이 성공적으로 마무리됐다.

KERIS 정제영 원장은 “추운 날씨에도 헌혈에 팔 걷고 동참해 준 우리원직원들과 협력업체 직원 여러분께 깊이 감사드리며, 생명나눔 사랑의 헌혈 캠페인을 통해 혈액 수급 위기가 조금이나마 완화되고 직원들의 헌혈이 소중한 생명을 살리는 데 보탬이 되길 바란다”며, “앞으로도 한국교육학술정보원은 헌혈 운동을 지속적으로 추진할 계획이다”고 밝혔다.
