이번 포럼은 지난해 12월 18일 체결된 대구시 이전 공공기관 간 AI 이용 활성화를 위한 업무협약의 후속 조치로, 대구로 이전한 공공기관들이 인공지능(AI) 활용 성과를 공유하고 실질적인 기술 교류와 협업 방안을 모색하기 위해 마련됐다.

인공지능 기술 확산과 공공 부문 활용이 가속화되는 가운데, 기관 간 전략 공유와 협력 네트워크 구축의 중요성이 커지고 있다. 이에 이번 포럼은 각 기관의 AI 추진 전략과 도입 사례를 공유하는 실질적인 협력의 장으로 주목을 받았다.

이날 포럼에는 한국교육학술정보원을 비롯해 신용보증기금, 한국가스공사, 한국부동산원, 한국사학진흥재단, 한국산업기술기획평가원, 한국산업단지공단, 한국장학재단, 한국지능정보사회진흥원 등 대구 이전 공공기관 9개 기관의 기관장과 관계자들이 참석했다.

발표 세션에서는 기관별 AI 추진 전략과 도입 성과를 중심으로 다양한 사례가 소개됐다. 주요 내용으로는 신용보증기금의 AI 기반 서비스 구축 사례(BASA), 한국가스공사의 KOGAS AX 전략과 AI 활용 사례, 한국교육학술정보원의 AI 활용 초등 수학 지원 사례, 한국부동산원의 REB AI 플랫폼과 데이터셋 구축 사례가 발표됐다.

또한 한국사학진흥재단의 기숙사 AI 피난 안내 시스템을 포함한 AX 추진 전략, 한국산업기술기획평가원과 한국산업단지공단의 AI 기반 대국민 서비스 구축 사례, 한국장학재단의 AX 추진 현황, 한국지능정보사회진흥원의 인공지능 추진 전략과 NIA 서포터즈 운영 성과 등도 공유됐다.

정제영 케리스 원장은 “이번 AI 혁신 포럼은 단순한 사례 발표를 넘어, 대구 이전 공공기관들이 인공지능이라는 공통 주제를 매개로 서로의 경험과 역량을 연결하는 출발점”이라며 “기관 간 협업을 통해 공공부문 AI 활용의 실질적인 성과를 창출하고 지역 기반 디지털 혁신을 선도해 나가길 기대한다”고 말했다.

한편, ‘대구 이전 공공기관 AI 협의체’는 이번 포럼을 계기로 기관 간 인공지능 협력 네트워크를 더욱 강화하고, 공동 과제 발굴과 기술 교류를 통해 공공부문 AI 활용을 지속적으로 확대해 나갈 계획이다.

This forum garnered attention as a practical forum for collaboration, allowing each institution to share its AI strategies and implementation practices.

The forum was attended by heads and officials from nine public institutions that relocated to Daegu: the Korea Education and Research Information Service (KERIS), Korea Credit Guarantee Fund (KCGF), Korea Gas Corporation (KOGAS), Korea Real Estate Agency (KRIA), Korea Private Schools Promotion Foundation (KPSF), Korea Institute of Technology Planning and Evaluation (KIET), Korea Industrial Complex Corporation (KOICA), Korea Student Aid Foundation (KOSAF), and Korea Intelligence Information Society Agency (KISA).

The presentation session presented various case studies, focusing on each institution's AI implementation strategies and implementation achievements. Key topics included the Korea Credit Guarantee Fund's AI-based service development case (BASA), Korea Gas Corporation's KOGAS AX strategy and AI application cases, the Korea Education and Research Information Service's AI-based elementary school mathematics support case, and the Korea Real Estate Agency's REB AI platform and dataset development case.

The forum also included the Korea Private School Foundation's AX implementation strategy, including the AI ​​evacuation guidance system for dormitories; the Korea Institute of Technology Planning and Evaluation and the Korea Industrial Complex Corporation's AI-based public service development case studies; the Korea Student Aid Foundation's AX implementation status; the Korea Intelligence Information Society Agency's AI implementation strategy; and the performance of the NIA Supporters program.

Keris President Jeong Je-young stated, "This AI Innovation Forum goes beyond simple case presentations. It serves as a starting point for public institutions relocated to Daegu to connect their experiences and capabilities through the common theme of AI." He added, "We hope that through inter-agency collaboration, we can generate tangible results in the use of AI in the public sector and lead regional digital innovation."

Meanwhile, the "Daegu Relocated Public Institutions AI Council" plans to use this forum as an opportunity to further strengthen the inter-agency AI cooperation network and continue to expand the use of AI in the public sector through joint project discovery and technology exchange.
