【브레이크뉴스 대구】이성현 기자=한국교육학술정보원(케리스)과 경기도교육연구원은 지난 4월 3일, 경기도교육연구원의 ‘경기 북부 에듀테크 소프트랩’ 개소를 맞아 디지털 교육 혁신과 교육·연구 협력을 위한 업무 협약을 체결했다고 4일 밝혔다.

이번 협약을 통해 양 기관은 공교육 현장에 적합한 디지털 도구의 발굴 및 확산, 관련 연구 및 학술 행사 등을 공동으로 추진할 예정이다. 구체적인 협력 내용은 △공교육 맞춤형 디지털 도구 발굴·확산, △디지털 교육 혁신을 위한 교육·연구 공동 추진 등이 포함된다.

경기도교육연구원은 경기 교육 정책을 지원하는 전문 연구기관으로, 다양한 교육 현안 연구를 통해 미래 교육의 방향을 제시하고 있으며, ‘경기 북부 에듀테크 소프트랩’을 운영하여 디지털 도구의 공교육 적합도를 높이는 실증과 체험·연수를 추진하고 있다. 

회천중학교에 디지털 교육 도구 체험과 연수, 세미나를 위한 공간을 구축하고, 이날 개소식과 함께 사례 공유 및 교육 관계자 의견수렴을 위한 포럼도 진행했다.

케리스는 교육정보화 전담기관으로, 디지털 교육 혁신을 지원하는 양질의 디지털 도구 개발과 확산을 중점 과제로 추진하고 있다. 이를 위해 지역 거점으로 ‘에듀테크 소프트랩’을 선정해 지원하고 있으며, 현재 9개 기관이 각 지역에서 교육 현장과 기업을 연결하는 허브의 역할을 수행하고 있다.

정제영 케리스 원장은 “경기도교육연구원과 협력하여 공교육을 위한 디지털 도구 활성화와 관련 교육·연구를 적극 추진하겠다”며, “특히 혁신적 디지털 도구의 현장 실증과 효과 분석 등 다양한 협력 방안을 모색하겠다”고 밝혔다.

Korea Education and Research Information Service (KERIS) and Gyeonggi Education Research Institute announced on the 4th that they signed a business agreement for digital education innovation and education/research cooperation in celebration of the opening of Gyeonggi Education Research Institute’s ‘Gyeonggi Northern Edutech Soft Lab’ on April 3rd.
