【브레이크뉴스 안동】이성현 기자=안동시(시장 권기창)는 11월 6일부터 8일까지 3일간 세계유산 도시 안동 일대에서 열린 ‘2025 글로벌 인문가치 세계유산 리더십 교류캠프’가 성황리에 종료됐다고 밝혔다.

이번 캠프는 안동시가 주최하고 YBS에듀가 주관한 ‘세계유산 체험프로그램 운영지원 사업’의 일환으로, 31개국에서 온 외국인 대학생 및 청년 리더 150여 명이 참여했다. 참가자들은 한국의 전통문화와 세계유산을 직접 체험하며 인문가치의 의미를 나누는 시간을 가졌다.

캠프 기간 동안 참가자들은 △하회별신굿탈놀이 배우기 △도산서원·봉정사 탐방 △국가무형유산 매듭장과 함께하는 전통 매듭 체험 등 다양한 프로그램에 참여하며 안동의 정신문화와 무형유산을 깊이 있게 경험했다. 또한 제12회 21세기 인문가치포럼 개회식에 참석해 국내외 인문학 전문가들과 ‘글로벌 리더십’과 ‘동서양 철학’을 주제로 교류하는 시간도 가졌다.

유교 책판을 비롯한 풍부한 기록유산과 수운잡방 등 음식문화, 하회별신굿탈놀이·차전놀이 등 전통 놀이문화를 고스란히 보유한 안동은 이번 교류캠프를 통해 세계 각국의 청년 리더들에게 한국 유·무형문화유산의 매력과 깊이를 알리는 국제 교류의 장을 마련했다.

안동시 관계자는 “이번 캠프는 안동의 문화유산이 지닌 가치가 전 세계 청년들에게 깊은 인상을 남긴 뜻깊은 행사였다”며 “앞으로도 안동이 ‘K-Heritage’의 중심 도시로 자리 잡을 수 있도록 세계유산 기반 국제 교류 사업을 지속적으로 확대하겠다”고 밝혔다.

Andong City Successfully Concludes '2025 Global Humanities Value World Heritage Leadership Exchange Camp'

Andong City (Mayor Kwon Ki-chang) announced the successful conclusion of the '2025 Global Humanities Value World Heritage Leadership Exchange Camp,' held in the Andong area, a World Heritage city, from November 6th to 8th.

This camp, hosted by Andong City and organized by YBS Edu as part of the 'World Heritage Experience Program Operation Support Project,' brought together approximately 150 international university students and young leaders from 31 countries. Participants experienced Korean traditional culture and World Heritage sites firsthand and shared the meaning of humanities values.

During the camp, participants participated in various programs, including learning the Hahoe Byeolsingut Mask Dance, visiting Dosan Seowon and Bongjeongsa Temple, and experiencing traditional knotting with a National Intangible Heritage Knot Master, deepening their understanding of Andong's spiritual culture and intangible heritage. He also attended the opening ceremony of the 12th 21st Century Humanities Value Forum, where he exchanged ideas with domestic and international humanities experts on the topics of "Global Leadership" and "Eastern and Western Philosophy."

Andong, a city rich in documentary heritage, including Confucian bookplates, culinary culture like Suun Japbang, and traditional play cultures like Hahoe Byeolsingut Mask Dance and Chajeon Nori, provided a forum for international exchange through this exchange camp, introducing the charm and depth of Korea's tangible and intangible cultural heritage to young leaders from around the world.
