안동시는 2026년 제1회 추가경정예산안으로 1,360억 원을 증액 편성해 지난 3월 18일 시의회 임시회에 제출했다고 밝혔다.

이번 추경은 고물가와 경기 둔화로 어려움을 겪는 서민경제를 지원하고, 본예산 이후 발생한 긴급 현안에 신속히 대응하기 위해 마련됐다. 이에 따라 올해 안동시 총예산 규모는 기존 1조 6,640억 원에서 1조 8,000억 원으로 8.2% 증가했다. 일반회계는 1조 6,130억 원, 특별회계는 1,870억 원으로 각각 확대됐다.

시는 민생 안정 강화를 위해 ▲지역사랑상품권 발행 및 운영 103억 원 ▲중소유통 물류센터 태양광 설치 2억 원 등을 반영했다.

지역 활력 제고를 위한 사업으로는 ▲신도시 복합커뮤니티센터 조성 47억 원 ▲낙동강변 실개천 친수공간 조성 18억 원 등이 포함됐다.

농업 분야에서는 ▲농작물 병해충 방제 4억 원 ▲농업재해 복구 2억 원 ▲임대형 스마트팜 조성 10억 원 등을 편성해 농가 지원을 강화했다.

이와 함께 ▲수상대로 도로확장공사 40억 원 ▲풍산읍 죽전지구 농촌공간 정비 15억 원 ▲옹천역사부지 활용사업 7억 원 등 지역 기반시설 개선 사업과 ▲일낙천 하천재해 예방 11억 원 ▲소나무재선충병 피해목 제거 10억 원 등 생활 밀착형 예산도 반영됐다.
