【브레이크뉴스 포항】박영재 기자=포항테크노파크 경북디지털혁신본부는 13일 포항TP 5벤처동 대강당에서 ‘2026년 경북 SW미래채움 강사 위촉식’을 개최했다고 밝혔다.

과학기술정보통신부가 주관하고 포항TP가 수행하는 이 사업은 포항·안동·경산 등 경북 3개 교육 거점을 중심으로 운영된다. 지역 미취업 청년과 경력보유 여성 등 SW 강사 활동을 희망하는 시민에게 전문 교육을 제공해 일자리 연계와 경력 축적 기회를 지원하는 것이 목적이다.

‘2026년 SW미래채움 강사 양성과정’은 올해 1월부터 2월까지 초급 과정(160시간)과 중·고급 과정(80시간)으로 운영됐다. 교육 과정에서는 디지털·AI 리터러시, 블록코딩, 인공지능 등 기초 SW 교육과 함께 생성형 AI 활용 콘텐츠 제작, ChatGPT 활용 로봇 제어 등 AI 기반 심화 교육이 진행됐으며 총 116명이 수료했다.

이후 과제 평가와 지필시험, 모의 강의, 면접 등 선발 과정을 거쳐 최종 90명이 경북 SW미래채움 강사로 위촉됐다. 강사들은 AI 교구재를 활용한 교육을 통해 전문 지식을 효과적으로 이해할 수 있었다며 높은 만족도를 보였다.

이날 위촉식에는 환동해권, 백두대간권, 남서부권 등 경북 전 권역에서 선발된 SW 강사 90여 명이 참석했으며, SW교육강사협의회를 통해 상반기 교육 운영 방향을 공유하고 강사용 소통 플랫폼(LMS·BAND) 활용 방법을 안내했다.

위촉된 강사들은 오는 3월 30일부터 초·중학교를 대상으로 ‘찾아가는 SW교육’을 본격 운영한다. 생성형 AI 실습 중심 교육과 로봇 등 SW 교구를 활용한 체험형 수업을 통해 학생들의 디지털 역량과 교육 참여도를 높일 계획이다. 또 교육 종료 이후 하반기에는 포항·안동·경산 등 3개 권역 거점에서 ‘찾아오는 SW교육’도 진행할 예정이다.

송경창 포항테크노파크 원장은 “AI를 포함한 최신 디지털 기술 교육과정을 지속적으로 확대해 전문 역량을 갖춘 SW·AI 강사를 양성하고, 지역 학생들이 미래 디지털 역량을 키울 수 있도록 교육 지원을 강화하겠다”고 말했다.

Pohang TP Appoints 90 ‘Gyeongbuk SW Future Chaeum Instructors’… Expanding Regional Digital Education

Pohang Technopark’s Gyeongbuk Digital Innovation Headquarters announced on the 13th that it held the ‘2026 Gyeongbuk SW Future Chaeum Instructor Appointment Ceremony’ at the main auditorium of the Pohang TP 5 Venture Building.

This project, organized by the Ministry of Science and ICT and implemented by Pohang TP, operates centered around three educational hubs in Gyeongbuk: Pohang, Andong, and Gyeongsan. Its purpose is to support job placement and career accumulation opportunities by providing specialized training to citizens who wish to work as SW instructors, including unemployed youth and women with work experience in the region.

The ‘2026 SW Future Chaeum Instructor Training Course’ was conducted from January to February of this year, consisting of a beginner course (160 hours) and an intermediate/advanced course (80 hours). The curriculum included basic software education covering digital and AI literacy, block coding, and artificial intelligence, as well as advanced AI-based training such as content creation using generative AI and robot control using ChatGPT; a total of 116 participants completed the course.

Subsequently, following a selection process that included assignment evaluations, written exams, mock lectures, and interviews, 90 individuals were finally appointed as instructors for the Gyeongbuk SW Future Chaeum program. The instructors expressed high satisfaction, stating that they were able to effectively understand specialized knowledge through education utilizing AI teaching aids.

Approximately 90 SW instructors selected from across Gyeongbuk, including the East Sea Rim, Baekdudaegan, and Southwestern regions, attended the appointment ceremony. Through the SW Education Instructor Council, the direction of educational operations for the first half of the year was shared, and guidance on utilizing communication platforms for instructors (LMS and BAND) was provided.

The appointed instructors will begin operating the "Visiting SW Education" program for elementary and middle schools in earnest starting March 30. The plan is to enhance students' digital capabilities and educational participation through hands-on training focused on generative AI and experiential classes utilizing software teaching aids such as robots. Additionally, following the conclusion of the training, "Visiting Software Education" is scheduled to be conducted in the second half of the year at three regional hubs in Pohang, Andong, and Gyeongsan.

Song Gyeong-chang, President of Pohang Technopark, stated, "We will continuously expand educational courses on the latest digital technologies, including AI, to foster SW and AI instructors with specialized expertise, and strengthen educational support to help local students develop their future digital capabilities."
