‘첨단해양R&D센터’는 포항시 남구 운하로 266(송도동)에 위치한 해양산업 특화 복합시설로, 지하 1층에서 지상 9층까지 총 연면적 9,466㎡ 규모로 조성됐다. 센터는 공장형 및 연구형 실험실, 해양데이터 관제센터 등 첨단 인프라를 갖추고 있으며, 해양자원, 해양레포츠, 해양 ICT, 해양바이오 등 첨단 해양분야 기업과 연구기관의 입주를 기대하고 있다.
이번 모집에서는전용면적 23.14㎡(7평)부터 89.25㎡(27평)까지 총 13개 호실을 대상으로 입주기업을 선발한다. 입주 시 센터 내 공동 연구장비 및 인프라를 자유롭게 활용할 수 있으며, 산학연 협력을 통한 기술 고도화도 기대할 수 있다.
