【브레이크뉴스 포항】박영재 기자=재단법인 포항테크노파크(원장 배영호, 이하 포항TP)가 지역 제조기업의 경쟁력 강화를 위한 ‘2025년도 지자체 연계 스마트공장 구축지원사업(삼성형)’의 참여기업을 오는 8월 8일까지 모집한다.
이번 사업은 경상북도와 포항시, 삼성전자, 중소기업중앙회, 포항TP가 공동으로 추진하는 협력사업으로, 스마트공장 구축을 처음 도입하는 지역 내 기초단계 중소·중견 제조기업 5곳을 선정해 기업당 최대 6천만 원의 구축비용을 지원할 예정이다.
특히 삼성전자의 현직 전문가들이 최대 8주간 선정된 기업 현장에 직접 상주하며 공정 개선과 공장 레이아웃 최적화 등 맞춤형 제조혁신을 밀착 지원한다. 대기업의 선진 제조 노하우가 지역 산업 현장에 직접 전수됨에 따라 포항 제조업계에 실질적인 변화를 가져올 것으로 기대를 모으고 있다.

Pohang TP, recruiting companies to introduce the ‘2025 Samsung-type Smart Factory Construction Support Project’
Pohang Technopark (Director Bae Young-ho, hereinafter Pohang TP) is recruiting participating companies for the ‘2025 Local Government-linked Smart Factory Construction Support Project (Samsung-type)’ to enhance the competitiveness of local manufacturing companies until August 8.
This project is a joint project promoted by Gyeongsangbuk-do, Pohang City, Samsung Electronics, Korea Federation of SMEs, and Pohang TP. Five small and medium-sized manufacturing companies in the region that are introducing smart factory construction for the first time will be selected and supported with construction costs of up to 60 million won per company.
In particular, Samsung Electronics’ current experts will reside in the selected companies’ sites for up to eight weeks to closely support customized manufacturing innovations such as process improvement and factory layout optimization. As the advanced manufacturing know-how of large companies is directly transferred to local industrial sites, it is expected to bring about real changes to the Pohang manufacturing industry.
