【브레이크뉴스 대구】박은정 기자=동구 안심도서관은 문화체육관광부가 주관하고, 한국문화예술위원회가 주최하는 '2022년 도서관 상주작가 지원사업'시행기관으로 선정됐다고 19일 밝혔다.

2022년 도서관 상주작가 지원사업은 작가가 공공도서관에 상주하면서 지역주민을 대상으로 문학 프로그램을 운영하고, 채용을 통해 문인의 일자리와 안정적인 창작 여건을 제공하는 사업이다.

전국 공공도서관 중 총40개관이 선정됐으며 선정된 도서관은 인건비, 문학프로그램 운영비 등 1,600여만원을 지원받는다.

안심도서관의 상주작가로 채용된 변희수 시인은 시, 수필, 청소년 문학 등 다양한 분야의 문예활동을 이어가고 있으며 저서로는 '거기서부터 사랑을 시작하겠습니다','아무 것도 아닌, 모든' 등이 있다. 

이재민 안심도서관장은 "2022년 도서관 상주작가 지원사업 선정으로 도서관이 지역문인과 상생할 수 있는 계기를 마련하였으며 상주작가와의 문학활동으로 지역주민의 삶이 더욱 풍요로워지길 기대한다"고 밝혔다.
