이번 캠프는 DICS검사(성격행동유형검사)등을 통해 직무적합도 분석 및 자가진단 프로그램을 통해 취업에 대한 동기부여와 자신감 회복에 초점을 두었다고 센터측은 밝혔다.
특히, 이날 캠프에서는 자기소개서, 이력서 작성 등에 집중한 컨설팅이 이뤄졌는데, 경일대학교와의 협업으로 이력서 사진을 위한 증명사진 촬영 및 보정과 팀별 면접, 참관 등을 진행하면서 실제 면접 환경에 적합한 상황을 만들고, 그에 따라 학생 면접 스킬 향상과 자신감 부여에 중점을 두었다.
재학생들이 자신의 진로특성에 부합하는 일자리를 찾을 수 있도록 찾아가는 취업 학과설명회, 개인별 맞춤 취업 컨설팅 및 상담, 취‧창업 서비스, 구직등록 및 잡(jop)매칭 등 다양한 취업지원 프로그램을 One-Stop 시스템으로 지원하고 있는 대경대학교 대학 일자리플러스센터는 대내외 관련 부서 및 기관들과 유기적 협력 체제를 통해 학생 취업 및 창업을 최우선으로 운영하고 있다.
이번 캠프에 참여했던 이진향 학생은 “ 1박2일 꽉 찬 일정이었지만 증명사진도 얻고, 면접 질문에 대처하고 참관하기도 하며 시간가는 줄 몰랐다. 앞으로도 대학일자리플러스센터에서 진행하는 프로그램에 자주 참여하고 싶다.”고 말했다.
김옥미 대학일자리플러스센터장은 “전문대 취업 집중 컨설팅 지도 프로그램을 운영하여 진로 및 취업캠프를 수료한 재학생은 바로 취업 지원을 할 수 있는 환경을 만들었다”며 “4년제 대학과 협업하여 대학 간 거버넌스 구축 및 경산시 지역청년에게도 다양한 취업 지원을 계획하고 있다”고 말했다.
대경대학교 이채영 총장은 “아직 진로를 결정하지 못한 학생들에게 금번 캠프를 통해 취업에 대한 자신감을 가질 수 있는 시간이 되었길 바란다”며 “2학기에도 맞춤형 취업 정보 제공을 통해 학생에게 실질적 도움을 줄 수 있도록 다양한 프로그램을 구성하여 학생들이 조기목표를 설정해 대학생활을 효율적으로 설계할 수 있는 기회를 제공하겠다”고 밝혔다.
