이날 개강식은 최재훈 달성군수, 윤영현 대한노인회 달성군지회장, 노인회 회원 등 100여명이 참석했다.
노인강령 낭독, 격려사 및 축사에 이어 건강한 삶을 가꾸는 7가지 비결이란 주제로 정병표 노인대학 학장 강의, 행복이란 무엇인가에 대한 이정수 강사의 강의 등 활기찬 노후생활 유지를 위한 유익하고 다양한 내용으로 진행됐다.
최재훈 달성군수는“3년 만에 실시하는 노인대학에 건강한 모습으로 참석해 주셔서 감사의 말씀을 드리며 즐겁고 유익한 시간이 되시기를 바란다."며" 어르신들이 편안하고 활기찬 노후를 보내실 수 있도록 항상 고민하고 어르신들의 의견을 반영해 군정을 운영해 나가겠다.”고 밝혔다.
한편, 달성군 노인대학은 구지면을 시작으로 10월까지 9개 읍・면을 순회해 진행한다.
