5일 대구시에 따르면 대구고용노동청과 대구경북중소벤처기업청 등 지역 유관기관과 함께 오는 28일까지 온·오프라인 채용박람회를 개최한다고 5일 밝혔다.

이번 채용박람회는 코로나19 장기화와 불확실한 경제여건 속에서 어려움을 겪고 있는 청년 구직자들과 기업들의 일자리 문제를 지역 유관기관들과 기업들이 함께 노력해 해결해 주고자 마련했다. 

지역에서는 대동, 에스엘 등 지역 우수 중견·중소기업, 고용친화기업, 산업기능요원 채용기업 등 122개 기업이 560여 명을 면접을 통해 채용할 예정이다.

온라인 면접으로 구직자들은 면접 희망기업과 날짜를 사전에 신청해 온라인으로 화상면접을 진행하며, 모바일을 이용하거나 인근 고용센터 화상면접실에서도 면접에 참여할 수 있다. 

현장 면접은 6일 오후 2시부터 영남이공대 천마체육관에서 열리며, 당일 현장에서 면접을 통해 기업과 우수인재를 연결하는 창구가 될 것으로 기대된다. 

또 현장면접 행사장에서는 직업심리검사, 취업특강, 컨설팅 등 다양한 부대행사도 진행할 예정이다.

이종화 대구시 경제부시장은 “미래를 이끌어 갈 젊은 세대에게 일자리를 찾아주는 것만큼 중요한 일은 없다”며, “이번 채용박람회를 통해 기업은 필요한 인재를 채용해 인력난을 해소하고, 구직자들은 본인이 원하는 일자리에 취업해 기업과 구직자들 모두에게 좋은 기회가 되길 바란다”고 밝혔다.
