2018년 시작된 사회복지박람회는 5회째를 맞이하였으며 사회복지전공 학생들의 취업지원을 위해 다양한 프로그램으로 구성되어 호응을 얻고 있다.

6일, 대학에 따르면 코로나19로 인해 비대면으로 진행되었던 2020년, 2021년과 달리 올해는 지난 5일 대구대 사회복지학과(학과장 이현주 교수) 주관으로 경산캠퍼스 성산홀(본관) 16층과 17층 스카이라운지에서 대면 행사가 진행됐다.

행사는 취업 선배 토크콘서트, 전문가취업특강, 모의면접 등의 프로그램이 운영되었으며 달서구 가족센터, 건강보험공단, DGB사회공헌재단 등 사회복지 분야 13개 기관 및 기업 관계자가 참여해 사회복지 분야 취업을 위한 알찬 정보를 제공했다. 

이날 대구대 출신 선배들은 토크콘서트를 통해 사회복지 분야 공무원, 공기업, 복지관 등의 취업과정에서 자신이 겪은 경험과 노하우를 후배들과 공유했다.

또한 사회복지 각 분야별 전문가들이 취업 특강을 진행하였으며 모의 면접과 자기소개서 첨삭, 이미지메이킹 등 재학생들에게 실질적으로 도움이 되는 취업 지원 프로그램이 운영되었다.

박람회에 참가한 백지원 학생은 “사회복지 분야로 취업할 수 있는 길이 다양하다는 것을 이번 박람회를 통해 알게 됐다”면서 “선배들의 이야기라서 많은 부분에서 공감이 됐고, 꿀팁도 얻을 수 있어 유익한 시간이었다.”고 말했다.
