13일 서구청에 따르면 국화전시회는 도심 속에서 다채로운 국화를 감상할 수 있는 기회로 코로나19 장기화로 지친 주민들에게 따뜻한 위로와 힐링의 메시지를 전달하고자 마련됐다.
옥상생태공원에 가든멈, 대국, 소국, 아스타 국화 등 4종의 국화화분 400여개를 전시하여, 청명한 가을하늘 아래 형형색색의 아름다운 볼거리를 제공한다.
전시회 관람은 평일 오전 9시부터 오후 6시까지이며 단체관람 시 사전예약을 통해 오전․오후 각 2팀씩 팀당 20명 이내로 신청이 가능하다.
류한국 서구청장은“코로나19로 지친 구민들이 옥상생태공원에서 국화를 관람하는 동안 가을의 정취를 만끽하고, 국화향 가득한 정원에서 잠시나마 일상의 스트레스를 잊고 힐링의 시간이 되시기를 바란다”고 말했다.
