【브레이크뉴스 대구】박은정 기자=대구 달성군립도서관이 문화체육관광부 주관 ‘2022년 전국 도서관 운영 평가’에서 우수 도서관으로 선정됐다고 20일 밝혔다.
문화체육관광부는 도서관 운영 우수사례를 발굴·확산하고 도서관의 균형 성장과 발전을 도모하기 위해 지난 2008년부터 전국 도서관 운영 평가를 실시해 왔다.
올해는 공공·학교·전문·교정·병영도서관 2,727개관을 대상으로 정량·정성평가를 실시했다.
달성군립도서관은 올해 평가에서는 달성군 지역 공동체 자료 수집 및 아카이빙, 공유 등을 위한 전국글쓰기대회, 주민 참여 창작 그림책 출판, 달성군 역사 인형극 및 샌드아트 제작 등 서비스 혁신 사례로 높은 평가를 받았다.
시상식은 지난 12일 창원컨벤션센터에서 열린 제59회 전국도서관대회 개막식에서 진행됐으며 달성군립도서관은 공공도서관 분야에서 문화체육관광부 장관상을 수상하여 우수도서관 인증마크 및 상장, 포상금을 수여받았다.
최재훈 달성군수는“앞으로도 도서관이 지역 교육·문화 발전의 중심역할을 할 수 있도록 공공도서관 추가 건립 등 맞춤형 교육 도시, 책 읽기 좋은 도시 달성군을 위한 투자를 아끼지 않겠다.”고 밝혔다.

In this year's evaluation, the Dalseong County Library was highly evaluated for its service innovation examples such as a national writing contest for collecting, archiving, and sharing data of the Dalseong-gun community, publishing a picture book with resident participation, and producing a historical puppet show and sand art in Dalseong-gun.
The awards ceremony was held at the opening ceremony of the 59th National Library Contest held at the Changwon Convention Center on the 12th, and the Dalseong-gun Library received the Minister of Culture, Sports and Tourism Award in the public library field, and was awarded the excellent library certification mark, certificate, and reward.
Dalseong-gun Mayor Choi Jae-hoon said, “We will continue to invest in Dalseong-gun, a customized education city and a good reading city, such as the establishment of additional public libraries so that libraries can play a central role in regional educational and cultural development.”
