【브레이크뉴스 경북 】이성현 기자=정부가 제11호 태풍 ‘힌남노’ 로 막대한 피해가 발생한 경북의 태풍 피해 재난지역 주민들의 생계안정을 위해 6천 367억원을 지원한다.

경북도에 따르면 경북지역 재난 피해는 사유시설(재난지원금) 691억원을 포함해 공공시설 5천676억원 등 모두 6천 367억원이 소요될 예정이다.

경북도는 지난 21개 시군(상주, 청송 제외)에서 사망 11명, 사유시설 238억원, 공공시설 1807억원 등 총 2천45억원(포항801, 경주1,211)의 피해가 발생한 것으로 집계했다. 특히, 하천 등 방재시설물의 계획빈도(80년)를 훨씬 뛰어넘는 500년 빈도 이상의 강우로 포항지역은 도심하천이 범람하면서 주택 4천37동, 상가 9천292동이 침수피해를 입었다. 

또, 경주지역은 산지 및 도로 비탈면 등에서 유출된 토석류와 유수지장물로 인해 공공시설이 많은 피해를 입은 것으로 확인됐다.이로 인해 포항과 경주 지역은 특별재난지역으로 지정되기도 했다. 

한편, 경상북도는 이에 앞서 150억의 재난지원금과 149억원의 제호구호기금을 출연해 피해복구계획 확정 이전에 침수피해를 입은 주택 및 소상공인에게 교부, 조금이나마 도움이 될 수 있도록  조치한 바 있다. 

이철우 경북도지사는 “사유재산 피해에 대해서는 한발 앞선 지원과 실질적인 피해 지원과 신속한 예산편성으로 복구사업이 원활히 추진될 수 있도록 하겠다”며 “앞으로 예기치 못한 재난에도 대비할 수 있는 있도록 재발 방지와 개선복구사업에 역점을 두고 복구계획을 수립하겠다”고 밝혔다.

Gyeongsangbuk-do Governor Lee Cheol-woo said, “For the damage to private property, we will make sure that the restoration project can be carried out smoothly by providing one-step advanced support, practical damage support, and prompt budget formation. We will establish a recovery plan with an emphasis on it.”
