태풍 힌남노가 5일과 6일 사이 역대급 강도로 한반도를 강타할 것으로 예측되는 가운데 대구시와 경북도가 이와 관련하여 회의를 개최했다.

또한 강풍에 대비해 취약한 시설에 대해 안전관리 대책 강화는 물론 농촌지역 농작물 및 비닐하우스 등 농·축산 시설물의 파손 대비에도 철저를 기할 예정이며 팔공산, 앞산, 비슬산 등 주요 등산로는 입산을 통제하고, 하천변 둔치주차장(17개소)은 수위 상승 시 사전에 주차차량 진입 통제 및 대피시키기로 했다.

경북도는 태풍 피해 최소화를 위해 지난 1일 부터 관계기관과 8회에 걸친 대책회의를 열고 재해취약시설물과 산불피해지역 등에 대해 사전 점검ㆍ정비를 완료했다.
