【브레이크뉴스 대구】진예솔 기자=대구대학교(총장 박순진)가 취업박람회를 개최해 유용한 채용 정보 제공을 통한 재학생 취업 지원에 나섰다.

9일, 대구대학교는 지난 8일과 9일 창파도서관에서 ‘2022 DU 일자리더하기 취업박람회’와 ‘2022 반도체기업 특화 취업박람회’가 개최되었다고 밝혔다.

이번 일자리더하기 취업박람회에는 카카오, 신용보증기금, 앨엔에프 등 대기업과 공공기관, 지역 우수기업 등 총 60개 기업이 참여해 눈길을 끌었다.

또한 한국도로공사, 카카오게임즈, 현대백화점 등 현직자로 근무하는 졸업 선배들이 학교를 찾아 후배들과 취업 상담을 하며 실무에서 얻은 노하우를 전수하기도 했다.

박람회에서는 취업용 증명사진 촬영, 이미지메이킹, 지문적성검사 등 부대행사도 함께 진행돼 온종일 재학생과 지역 청년 등의 발길이 이어졌다.

이정민 학생(기계공학과 4학년)은 “코로나19 때문에 그동안 취업 행사가 온라인 위주로 진행됐는데, 이번에 대면 행사로 진행되면서 현장에서 더 유용한 취업 정보를 얻을 수 있었다.”라고 말했다.

같은 날 열린 대학일자리플러스센터 사업의 일환으로 반도체기업 특화 취업박람회에는 LG이노텍, 에이블 등 20개 기업이 참가해 반도체기업 취업에 관심이 있는 학생들의 채용 상담이 진행됐다.

해당 박람회에서도 반도체기업에서 현직자로 일하고 있는 졸업 선배들이 멘토로 초청돼 후배들과 취업 상담을 하며 반도체기업 취업 정보와 경험을 공유했다.

장원구 대구대 학생행복처장은 “지역·산업·전공별 특성에 맞는 기업을 초청하는 등 학생들의 수요에 맞는 맞춤형 취업박람회를 운영해 학생들의 관심과 참여가 높았다.”면서 “다양한 기업의 취업 정보를 한자리에서 만나볼 수 있는 취업박람회가 학생들의 취업 준비에 많은 도움이 됐길 바란다.”라고 말했다.
