동구청은 상향적 조직 혁신 구현을 위한 ‘학습동아리 활동’, 딱딱규제 톡톡깨기 ‘직원 아이디어 공모제도’를 통해 조직문화와 일하는 방식을 개선하고 일상생활 속 불합리한 규제를 진취적 태도로 혁파한 성과를 인정받은 것으로 알려진다.
윤석준 동구청장은 “이번 수상은 지식기반 혁신행정을 펼쳐온 직원들의 노력으로 얻은 결실이다"며" 앞으로도 함께 학습하며 성장하는 공직문화를 조성하여 내일이 더 기대되는 동구를 만들겠다”고 밝혔다.
