28일, 경북교육청은 이번 총파업으로 인해 불거질 학교 현장의 혼란을 최소화하기 위해 전력으로 대응하겠다는 방침을 밝혔다.

경북교육청은 지난 14일 총파업이 예고된 이후 신속하게 상황실을 조직하고 각 부서의 의견 수렴과 부교육감 주재 부서장 회의를 가졌다.

이를 통해 교육청은 ▶상황실 구성·운영 ▶단계별·기관별 대응 방안 ▶학교급식·돌봄·특수교육 등 취약분야 집중 대응 ▶신속한 보고체계 구축 ▶복무 및 임금 처리 등의 내용이 담긴 교육공무직원 파업 대응 매뉴얼을 수립하고 일선 학교에 안내했다.

아울러 파업 기간 동안 도내 각 급 학교의 급식과 돌봄 교실 등의 운영 여부를 지속적으로 모니터링하고, 교육활동의 공백이 발생하지 않도록 지원할 계획이다.

특히 급식소 근로자가 파업에 참여할 경우 파업 참여 규모를 고려해 식단 축소 또는 간편식을 제공하거나, 대체식(빵·우유 등) 제공 등을 학교 여건에 맞게 결정하도록 했다.

돌봄전담사, 특수교육실무사 등의 공백에 대해서는 학교 내 교직원을 최대한 활용해 학생들의 학습권 보장에 총력을 기울일 계획이다.

임종식 교육감은 “급식, 돌봄, 특수교육 등 학생 및 학부모의 불편이 가중될 것으로 예상되는 분야에 집중 대응하고, 교육활동의 공백과 차질을 최소화하는데 전력을 다하겠다.”고 말했다.
