【브레이크뉴스 대구】진예솔 기자=경북교육청(교육감 임종식)이 맞춤형 인성교육 프로그램 운영을 지원한다고 13일 밝혔다.

코로나19로 인한 대면 교육의 제약으로 서로 간 상호작용이 부족해지면서 인성교육의 중요성이 대두되고 있다.

이에 경북교육청은 학생들의 사회성을 함양하고자 학교 구성원의 특성에 맞는 통합적 인성교육 ‘우리 모두 다함께’와 ‘인성교육 선도학급’등 관련 프로그램을 지원하고 있다.

‘우리 모두 다함께’는 또래활동, 놀이 활동, 사제동행활동, 체험활동 등 학생과 학생 간, 학생과 교사 간 상호작용 기회를 제공하는 프로그램이다.

교육청은 도내 초·중·고·특수학교 1,255개 팀을 지원해 정규 교육과정과 주말 등을 활용해 또래 멘토링, 교우 관계 형성을 위한 소모임, 상담 및 봉사활동, 학교 안팎 체험활동 등을 실시한다.

 인성교육 선도학급은 개별 학급의 특성에 맞춰 예(禮), 효(孝), 정직, 책임, 존중, 배려, 소통, 협동의 8가지 인성 가치·덕목 중심의 인성교육을 교육과정과 연계해 실시하는 프로그램으로 올해 135개 학급을 지원하고 있다.

이 밖에도 체험·실천 중심의 교육과정을 운영하는‘인성교육 중점학교’141교, 스스로 정한 목표에 도전하는‘도전! 꿈 성취 학교장 인증제’203교, 고장의 전통문화와 선비정신을 배우는‘미래형 선비 육성학교’16교 등 인성교육 중심의 학교 교육과정 운영을 지원해 적극적인 인성교육 활성화에 나서고 있다.

 임종식 교육감은 “상호 연결성이 커지고 정보량이 급증하는 4차 산업혁명 시대에는 상대방을 존중하고 배려하며 소통하는 인성교육이 강조되고 있다.”며 “가족, 동료, 선생님 등 다양한 인간관계 속에서 좋은 습관과 행동을 기를 수 있는 인성교육 프로그램을 지속적으로 지원하겠다.”고 말했다.
