【브레이크뉴스 경주】박희경 기자=경주시의회(의장 이동협)는 18일 제296회 임시회 제2차 본회의를 열고 8일간의 의사일정을 모두 마무리했다.

이날 본회의에 앞서 김동해 의원은 ‘경주시 산림복구 계획 촉구’를 주제로, 임활 부의장은 ‘국제통상 허브 도시 도약 전략’을 주제로 각각 5분 자유발언을 진행했다. 박광호 위원장도 ‘중단 없는 경주 발전을 위한 시민의 역할’을 주제로 정책 제언에 나섰다.

이어 열린 본회의에서는 조례안 6건, 동의안 3건, 의견청취안 2건, 공유재산 관리계획 변경안 2건 등 총 13개 안건이 심의됐다. 이 가운데 「경주시 상수도원인자부담금에 관한 조례 일부개정조례안」은 수정 가결됐으며, 나머지 안건은 원안 가결 및 채택됐다.

이동협 의장은 “임시회 기간 동안 안건 심사에 힘쓴 동료 의원들과 원활한 의정활동을 위해 협조한 집행부 공직자들에게 감사드린다”며 “이번 회기에서 논의된 안건과 정책 제안들이 시정에 충실히 반영돼 시민 삶의 질 향상과 지역 발전으로 이어지길 기대한다”고 밝혔다.

한편 제9대 경주시의회는 오는 6월 예정된 제297회 임시회를 끝으로 4년간의 의정활동을 마무리할 예정이다.

The Gyeongju City Council (Chairperson Lee Dong-hyeop) held the second plenary session of the 296th Extraordinary Session on the 18th, concluding its eight-day legislative schedule.

Meanwhile, the 9th Gyeongju City Council is scheduled to conclude its four-year legislative activities following the 297th extraordinary session, which is set for this coming June.
