【브레이크뉴스 경주】박희경 기자=경주시의회(의장 이동협)는 11일 본회의장에서 제294회 제2차 정례회 제2차 본회의를 열어 27건의 안건을 의결했다.

본회의에 앞서 정희택 의원은 ‘경주시 민속공예촌 활성화 방안’에 대해, 이경희 위원장은 ‘빈집정비·도시재생·도심활성화 정책의 근본적 변화와 실행 촉구’에 대해, 최재필 위원장은 ‘경주시 공영주차장 현금결제 불가 정책에 대한 우려’를 주제로 5분 자유발언을 실시했다.

이후 본회의에서는 '2026년도 예산안' 및 '2026년도 기금운용계획안'과 17건의 조례안, 6건의 동의안, 2건의 공유재산 관리계획안 등 27개 안건에 대한 심의와 함께, '2025년도 제3회 추가경정예산안 및 기금운용계획 변경안'의 제안설명의 건이 이어졌다.

심의 결과 작년보다 750억 원 증액된 2조 1000억 원 규모의 '2026년도 예산안'에서 27억 7640만 원의 세출예산이 삭감 후 재해·재난 목적의 예비비로 전환됐으며, '경주시 지방대학 및 지역균형인재 육성에 관한 지원 조례 전부개정조례안'이 수정 가결됐고, 나머지는 모두 원안 가결됐다.

이동협 의장은 “2026년 본예산을 비롯하여 다양한 안건을 열정적으로 심사하신 동료 의원 여러분, 그리고 의회 일정에 적극적으로 협조해주신 공직자 여러분께 감사드리며, 정례회의 마지막까지 맡은 업무에 최선을 다해달라”고 전했다.

한편 제294회 제2차 정례회는 12일부터 17일까지의 휴회기간을 거쳐, 18일 제3차 본회의, 19일 제4차 본회의를 끝으로 23일간의 일정을 마무리하게 된다.

The Gyeongju City Council (Chairman Lee Dong-hyeop) held the 2nd Plenary Session of the 294th Regular Session on the 11th in the main conference hall and passed 27 agenda items.

As a result of the deliberation, 2.7764 billion won of the 2026 Budget, a 75 billion won increase from last year's total of 2.1 trillion won, was reduced and transferred to a reserve fund for disaster relief. The "Complete Amendment to the Gyeongju City Ordinance on Support for Local Universities and Regional Balanced Talent Development" was approved with amendments, while all other items were approved as originally proposed.

Speaker Lee Dong-hyeop said, "I would like to express my gratitude to my fellow members who passionately reviewed various agenda items, including the 2026 budget, and to the public officials who actively cooperated with the legislative schedule. I ask that you continue to do your best in your duties until the end of the regular session."

Meanwhile, the 294th regular session, the 2nd session, will conclude its 23-day schedule with a recess from the 12th to the 17th, followed by the 3rd plenary session on the 18th and the 4th plenary session on the 19th.
