경상북도선거관리위원회가 제20대 대통령선거의 선거일을 90일 이전부터 후보자와 관련 있는 출판기념회, 국회의원·지방의원의 의정활동보고회 개최가 금지된다고 밝혔다.
경북선관위는 오는 9일, 2022년 대선 선거일 90일을 앞둔 날부터 이와 같은 출판기념회‧의정보고회를 비롯한 후보자의 광고 및 방송 출연이 제한된다고 전했다.
구체적으로는 누구든지 후보자와 관련 있는 저서의 출판기념회를 개최할 수 없고, 국회의원과 지방의원은 직무상 행위 기타 명목 여하를 불문하고 집회, 보고서 등을 통하여 의정활동 보고를 할 수 없다.
또한 누구든지 정당·후보자의 명의를 나타내는 저술·연예·연극·영화·사진 그 밖의 물품을 광고할 수 없으며, 후보자는 방송·신문·잡지 기타의 광고에 출연할 수 없다. 또한, 선거법에 따른 방송 및 보도·토론방송을 제외한 방송 출연은 선거방송심의에 관한 특별규정 제21조(후보자 출연 방송제한 등)에 따라 제한된다.
이번 대통령선거에 출마하려는 공무원 등 입후보가 제한되는 사람은 12월 9일까지 사직해야 출마할 수 있다. 다만, 국회의원은 사직하지 않아도 된다.
통·리·반장이나 주민자치위원회위원, 예비군 중대장급 이상의 간부가 선거사무장, 선거연락소장, 선거사무원, 예비후보자·후보자의 활동보조인, 회계책임자, 연설원, 대담·토론자, 투표참관인, 사전투표참관인이 되려면 12월 9일까지 그 직을 그만두어야 하며 이 경우 주민자치위원회위원은 선거일까지, 그 밖의 사람은 선거일 후 6월 이내에는 종전의 직에 복직할 수 없다.
