【브레이크뉴스 대구】진예솔 기자=조기대선 출마를 선언한 국민의힘 안철수 의원이 “한동훈 전 대표의 대선 출마를 강하게 반대한다”는 입장을 밝혔다.

11일 안철수 의원은 대구를 찾아 기자들을 만난 자리에서 “한동훈 전 대표는 윤석열 전 대통령 때문에 법무부 장관도 하고 비대위원장도 한 최대의 시혜를 입은 사람”이라며 “지난 총선에서는 사상 최대의 패배를 했다”고 비판했다.

또한 “정치경험 부족한 검사 출신이라는 점에서 윤석열 전 대통령과 동일하다”며 “이재명 대표와 양자대결 여론조사에서 가장 뒤떨어지는 결과를 나타내고 있다”고 꼬집었다.

이와 함께 한덕수 대통령 권한대행의 출마 가능성에 대해서는 “물리적으로 어렵다”고 설명했다. 그는 “지금 선거 관리만 하더라도 시간이 굉장히 촉박하고 권한대행을 다시 뽑고 출마를 위해 공약을 개발하고 팀을 짜고 하는 문제들을 해내기에 남은 기간으로는 불가능 하다”고 말했다.

이어 “본선에 올라가서 명태균 리스크에 가장 공격을 많이 받을 후보들이 최종 후보가 되면 우리 당이 승리하기 굉장히 어려워지는 것 아닌가하는 걱정이 된다”고 우려를 표했다.

유승민 전 의원에 대해서는 “서로 상황이 다르다고 생각한다”면서도 “유 전 의원이 만나서 한 번 의논하자고 제안한다면 만날 수도 있다”며 연대 가능성을 시사했다.

안 의원은 논란이 되고 있는 국민의힘 경선룰에 대해 “당에서 정하면 그 뜻을 따르겠다”며 농부가 밭을 탓하겠나“고 말했다.

그러면서 “이미 공식적으로 발표가 됐기 때문에 그게 뒤집어질 수는 없다”며 “저는 저 나름대로 최선을 다하겠다”며 의지를 표명했다.
