17일 안철수 후보는 계명대학교 대구동산병원의 '코로나19 기억의 공간' 개관식을 위해 대구를 찾은 가운데 취재진을 만나 이 같은 입장을 밝혔다.

앞서 열린 광주·전북·전남 합동연설회에서 안철수 후보는 “김기현 후보는 황교안 후보의 울산 KTX 역세권 시세차익 질문에 제대로 답하지 못했다.”며 “당대표가 되면 오히려 공격받고 필패의 길을 걷게 될 것”이라며 김 후보를 비판했다.

이에 대해 김기현 후보는 “아직도 가짜뉴스를 만들어 퍼나르는 민주당 DNA를 그대로 가지고 있는 분이 우리 당에 있는 모양"이라고 꼬집으며 ”이는 명백한 비방이자 인신 공격으로 선관위에 엄중 조치를 촉구할 것“이라고 말했다.

김기현 후보의 공세에 안철수 후보는 “김 후보의 땅 투기 의혹은 황교안 후보 이야기를 듣고 알게 되었다.”며 “그래서 그것이 사실인가를 묻기 위해 질문을 던진 것”이라고 설명했다.

그러면서 “앞서 서울시장 재보궐 선거 당시 LH 사태로 선거가 결정 되었다.”며 “그것과 마찬가지로 우리가 부동산 의혹에 휩싸인다면 내년 총선에서 절대로 이기기 힘들 것”이라고 말했다.

안 후보는 “그렇기 때문에 이 문제는 그냥 넘어가서는 안 되며 없던 것처럼 해서도 안 된다.”면서 “명백히 가려야 내년 총선에서 이길 수 있고 윤석열 정부가 제대로 일 할수 있다.”고 덧붙여 말했다.

한편 안철수 후보는 결선투표 가능성이 유력해짐에 따라 타 후보와의 합종연횡 가능성에 대해 묻는 기자에 질문에 “제 목표는 1차 투표에서 1등 하는 것”이라며 단호한 입장을 내비쳤다.
