대구시는 시민들이 일상에서 작지만 확실한 행복을 느낄 수 있는 ‘소확행 대구’를 시정 중점과제로 정하고 관련 정책에 대한 시민의견을 조사했다고 8일 밝혔다.

 ㈜에이스리서치에 의뢰해 실시한 이번 조사는 성·연령·지역별로 비례할당 후 무작위 추출된 대구시민 1천 9명을 대상으로 지난 1월 21일부터 27일까지 구조화된 설문지를 이용한 전화조사(50%)와 웹 서베이(50%)방식으로 이뤄졌다.

먼저, 소확행 대구를 만들기 위해 대구시가 우선적으로 추진해야 할 정책으로는 응답자의 35.5%가 ‘생애 주기별 맞춤형 생활지원 정책’을 선택했고 ‘청년 지역정착 및 보금자리 마련 지원 정책’이 33.5%로 그다음으로 나타났다.

 생애 주기별 맞춤형 생활지원 정책중에서 실생활에 가장 도움이 된다고 생각하는 정책은 ‘노인 기초연금 확대 지급 및 일자리 확대로 노후 소득 보장’, ‘출산가정 첫만남이용권, 영아수당 신설 등 육아비용 및 보육지원 확대’를 각각 1순위와 2순위로 뽑았다. 

올해 신규·강화되는 ‘청년 지원 정책’ 중에서 실생활에 가장 필요한 정책으로는 ‘좋은 일자리 창출 및 취업·창업 지원 정책’을 응답자의 49.1%가 선택했다. 

문화·예술분야 정책 중에서는 ‘일상에서 미술작품을 관람할 수 있는 도시 조성’과 ‘수준 높은 공연의 상시관람 신설’ 순으로 실생활에 가장 필요한 정책으로 보았다.

대구시 생태환경 개선사업의 일환으로 추진 중인 ‘신천 프로젝트 정책’과 관련해서 신천이 대구의 명품하천으로 거듭나기 위해 필요한 것으로 ‘나무·화초 심기, 수달 보호 등 자연친화적 생태복원’, ‘그늘, 화장실, 가로등, 벤치 등 휴식 공간 및 편의시설 개선’을 선택했다. 

대구시 버스 정책과 관련해서는 ‘대중교통 무료 환승시간 확대’와 ‘인접도시 대중교통 환승할인 확대’를 실생활에 가장 필요한 정책이라고 응답했다.

앞으로 대구시에서의 생활이 나아질 것으로 보는지에 대한 시민의견을 알아본 결과, 지금보다 나아질 것이라고 긍정적으로 답한 응답자가 52.7%로 나타나 그렇지 않을 것이라는 부정적 의견 39.0%에 비해 13.7% 포인트 높게 조사됐다.
