동구청은 세계가스총회 관계자들이 찾는 대구국제공항 주변에 다층식재 화단 조성사업을 통하여 팬지 등 봄꽃 6,180포기를 식재한다.
또, 안심3동, 큰고개오거리, 각산동, 신천동 등 이미 식재를 완료한 곳은 꽃이 잘 자랄 수 있도록 관리를 강화할 방침이다.
동구청 관계자는 “앞으로 세계가스총회를 대비해 정원형 화단을 설치하고, 식재된 꽃을 아름답게 가꾸겠다”고 밝혔다.
