【브레이크뉴스 대구】박은정 기자=오는 29일 두류 젊음의 거리, 상화로 먹거리촌에서 2022 달서‘맛’페스티벌이 열린다.

26일 달서구에 따르면 이번 페스티벌은 코로나19로 침체됐던 먹거리 골목을 활성화 하고자 마련됐다.

두류 젊음의 거리는 달서구 두류동 광장코아 맞은 편 골목안쪽에 형성된 먹거리 천국으로 약 150개의 다양한 맛집과 술집이 형성돼 늘 젊은이들이 북적거린다. 

주 이용객이 젊은 MZ세대인 점을 고려해 댄스&밴드 버스킹, EDM파티, 달서 맛DJ 라디오 타임, 맥주빨리마시기대회 등으로 프로그램을 구성했다.

상화로 먹거리촌은 선사시대 유물이 최초 발견되고 밀집되어 있는 지역이다. 달서구 대표 유적인 거대 원시인 조형물 등 관광지 주변으로 다양한 메뉴의 음식점이 분포돼 있으며 지난 3월 상화로 입체화 사업 착공으로 앞으로 대구시를 대표하는 도로경관을 연출할 예정이다. 

상화로 먹거리촌 행사내용은 개막식을 시작으로 트롯한마당, 달서 가요제 등 가족단위 중심의 이용객이 즐길 수 있는 프로그램을 준비했다.

 페스티벌 당일은 거리에 교통을 통제하고 이용객들이 다양한 먹거리를 맛보며 축제의 분위기를 만끽할 수 있도록 오픈캠핑로드로 먹거리 골목을 꾸밀 계획이다.

아울러 달서 대표 먹거리 음식 전시관, 옛 먹거리 체험, 할로윈 분장 등 다양한 부대 행사가 마련돼 있으며, 페스티벌 당일 행사장 내 음식점 이용 영수증이 있으면 물품교환 이벤트도 진행될 예정이다.

이태훈 달서구청장은 “2022 달서 맛 페스티벌 을 통해 지역주민과 먹거리 골목 상인이 함께 달서의 맛과 파티를 즐길 수 있길 바란다"며"먹거리 골목 상권도 살려 지역 경제를 활성화에 최선을 다하겠다.” 고 밝혔다.
