음식물쓰레기 납부필증 수수료 수입은 청소예산 자립도 제고를 위한 필수요소로 달성군뿐만 아니라 전국 모든 자치단체가 해당지역 단체장이 발행하는 납부필증만을 사용하도록 제한하고 있다.
이로 인해 전출지에서 사용하던 납부필증은 전입지에서 사용이 불가능하기 때문에 사전에 납부필증 구매처에서 잔여매수를 환불해야 하지만 영수증을 잃어버린 경우 이마저도 불가능해 다수의 전입자들이 불편을 호소해왔다.
달성군은 이러한 문제점을 해소하기 위해 대구 최초로 전입자에 한해 전출지에서 사용하던 잔여 음식물쓰레기 납부필증을 전입 후에도 그대로 사용이 가능하도록 방침을 정하고 연말까지 집중홍보를 거친 후 내년 1월부터 본격 시행한다.
최재훈 달성군수는 “우리군으로 전입오시는 분들의 납부필증 재구입 불편을 해소하고자 본 제도를 추진하게 되었다.”며“전출나가시는 분들도 동일한 혜택을 누릴 수 있도록 대구 내 타 자치단체까지 본 제도가 확대 시행되기를 기대한다.”고 밝혔다.
