문화체육관광부가 주관하는 여가친화인증제는 '국민여가활성화기본법' 제16조에 근거하여 근로자의 일과 여가생활을 조화로운 균형을 위해 모범적으로 노력한 기관과 기업을 선정하는 제도이다.
달성군시설관리공단은 장시간 근로시간 개선, 다양한 유연근무제도 시행, 시간단위 연차제도 및 연차 이월저축제도, 사내동호회 및 교육비 지원, MZ세대 소통 프로그램 직원 휴게 공간 확충 직원 가족 초대 행사 등 다양한 지원을 통하여 제도사용의 편의성을 증진하고 업무 능률 향상과 근로 환경 개선을 위해 노력했다는 평가를 받았다.
또 가정의 달 수영장 무료 개방 및 지도, 휴양림 무료 영화 상영, 휴양림 숲속 문화 산책, 1사 1촌 농촌 일손 돕기, 사회적 약자를 위한 여가 활동 프로그램 개발 등 일반 주민의 여가활동 증진을 위하여 공공자원을 개방한 다양한 행사를 병행하여 운영하고 있다.
