‘날씨경영 우수기관 선정제도란’은 경영활동에 날씨정보를 활용, 매출향상과 비용절감, 인적·물적 피해를 예방하는 등 날씨경영 활동을 하는 우수기관에 대해 선정하는 제도이다.
공단은 지난해 ESG경영을 선포하고 지속적으로 환경과 기후변화에 관심을 가지고 경영활동에 날씨정보를 다양하게 활용하여 대처해 오고 있다.
그 결과 해마다 10% 이상 안전사고 감소와 경영평가 고객만족도 5년 연속 1등급 획득을 통해 2022년 행정안전부 경영평가 전국 1위 달성했다.
또 2022년 혁신지향 공공조달 유공 정부포상에서‘국무총리상' , 제21회 대한민국 안전대상‘행정안전부 장관상’, 전국 시·군·구 지방공기업 우수사례 경진대회에서‘최우수상(행정안전부 장관상)’을 수상하는 등 성과를 이루어 내고 있다.
김정화 이사장은“기상 변화에 대한 선제적 대응과 ESG경영·혁신경영으로 안전과 고객서비스 향상을 위해 최선을 다하겠다.”고 밝혔다.
