‘위험성평가 우수 사업장 인정제도’는 노사 협업을 통해 사업장 스스로 유해·위험요인을 발굴 및 개선하는 등 위험관리 활동을 실시하고 이를 한국산업안전보건공단의 엄격한 심사를 거쳐 우수사업장으로 선정하는 제도이다.
공단은 이번 평가에서 안전점검의 날, 안전보건교육, 비상대응훈련, 안전문화 확산주간 운영, 숨은 위험 찾기 운동 등 산업재해 예방 활동과 안전 문화 확산 운동을 추진한 부분에서 높은 점수를 받은 것으로 알려진다.
김정화 이사장은“안전사고 예방의 첫걸음은 사전에 사고위험을 차단하는 것이다.”며“사전에 위험을 제거하는 활동을 지속 전개하여 시민과 근로자의 안전을 최우선으로 하는 안전한 환경 만들기에 최선의 노력을 다하겠다.”고 밝혔다.
