【브레이크뉴스 대구】박은정 기자=달성군(군수 최재훈)이 '2022년도 자연재난 관리실태 평가'에서 2년 연속 최우수 기관으로 선정됐다고 24일 밝혔다.
대구시는 관내 8개 구·군을 대상으로 재난 및 안전관리 기본법’을 근거로 재난관리책임기관의 책임성과 재난관리 역량을 제고하기 위하여 자연재난 관리실태 평가를 매년 시행하고 있다.
이번 평가는 재난관리평가, 여름철 자연재난관리평가, 겨울철 자연재난관리 평가, 폭염 및 지진 대책 추진, 풍수해 보험 목표 달성률 총 5개 항목에 따라 전반적인 재난관리 추진실태를 평가했다.
달성군은 유관기관 협업체계 구축 및 재난상황관리를 철저히 실시하였으며 폭염T/F팀 구성 운영, 자연재해위험 개선지구 정비, 재해 위험지역에 대한 기관장의 적극적인 예찰활동 등이 높은 평가를 받은 것으로 알려진다.
최재훈 달성군수는“이번 대구시 자연재난 관리실태평가 최우수 기관 선정은 재난으로부터 군민의 생명과 안전을 지키기 위해 모두가 합심하여 노력한 결과”라며“재난 사전 대비의 중요성이 대두되는 시기인 만큼 앞으로도 선제적 재난예방활동을 통해 군민의 안전과 재산을 보호 하는데 최선을 다하겠다.”고 밝혔다.
