【브레이크뉴스 대구】진예솔 기자=경일대학교가 건축디자인학과 학생들이  ‘문경시 공공 학생 건축가’로 위촉되었다고 26일 밝혔다.

경일대는 지난 20일 건축디자인학과 4학년 박성모 학생, 서성준 학생, 손근영 학생, 이정우 학생, 최우석 학생이 문경시 공공 학생 건축가로 위촉되어 지역의 정주환경 개선을 위해 2024년까지 활동한다.

건축디자인학부(5년제) 김은광 교수와 5명의 학생은 지난 2개월 간 문경시 원도심을 대상으로 진행한 지역민들의 생활 환경 개선 작업의 성과를 인정받아 문경시 공공 학생 건축가로 위촉됐다. 

이들은 문경시 원도심 중 한 곳인 점촌3동 일대 중 아파트 개발지역과 계획 개발지역 사이에 위치한 노후화된 도심을 대상으로 인구 밀도 및 연령, 지역 상권, 건물 및 토지 유형, 재난 취약 여부 등을 분석했다.

이를 토대로 지방의 지속가능한발전을 위해 지역 커뮤니티 공간의 필요성을 언급하며  두 명 이상의 비혈연 노인들이 주거 공유 공간인 ‘시니어 콜렉티브 하우스(Senior Collective House)’를 제안했다.

경일대 건축디자인과(5년제) 김은광 교수는 “이번 공공 학생 건축가 위촉을 통해 문경시 정주 환경 개선을 위해 본격적인 활동을 할 수 있게 됐다”라며 “앞으로도 지역 도심에 대한 연구를 통해 도시재생 및 지속 가능한 개발에 대한 연구를 이어 나가겠다”라고 전했다.

They analyzed population density and age, local commercial district, building and land type, and vulnerability to disasters in the aging downtown located between the apartment development area and the planned development area in Jeomchon 3-dong, one of the original downtown areas in Mungyeong City.

Based on this, mentioning the need for a local community space for the sustainable development of the province, two or more non-blood related senior citizens proposed a ‘Senior Collective House’, a shared residential space.

Professor Kim Eun-kwang of Kyungil University's Department of Architectural Design (5-year program) said, "Through this appointment of public student architects, we will be able to engage in full-fledged activities to improve the residential environment in Mungyeong City."
